Wonderful atmospheric walks!
I hadn't been here since I was very young, it was lovely to take my wee one...... It is lovely, lots of paths to explore and we saw lots of squirrels too which he loved. Might be one of our new fav places to stroll
The site of the old school, Spiers is now a site where people can explore and walk dogs. Occasionally members of Beith who attended the school will be around, and it can give a sense of nostalgia to those who were there. However the youths can be extremely troublesome, with them setting a tree on fire! It would be best to visit during the day: would not recommend going there at night, and the small carpark and busy road can be slightly off putting.
